Mobile Massage Policy

The following policies must be agreed to before bodywork of any type will be performed. These policies are here to protect the client as well as the practitioner and are intended to clearly lay out the expectations for both before, during and after the session.

Session Liability Waiver

  • I understand that although massage can be very therapeutic, relaxing and can reduce muscular tension, it is not a substitute for medical examination, diagnosis, care and/or treatment.
  • I understand that this is a therapeutic massage and any sexual remarks or advances will terminate the session at full cost without refund.
  • Being that massage should not be done under certain medical conditions, I affirm that I have answered all questions pertaining to all medical conditions truthfully and have informed Reworks Massage and Tech LLC/Cori Tate Barker, LMT of any and all medical conditions, especially those that are contraindicated (will be worsened by massage).
  • I understand my responsibility to communicate:
    • Discomforts such as pressure, temperature, draping, music, conversation.
    • Changes in medical conditions.
    • Expectations for the session and during the session.
  • I hereby for myself, my heirs, administrators and assignees, waive and release any and all rights and claims of damages that may hereafter accrue to me, or which I have against Reworks Massage and Tech LLC or Cori Tate Barker, LMT for all and any injury, loss, pain and suffering, and damages suffered by me during the course of or in any way connected to any and all massage therapy sessions, past, future and present.

Timing Policies

Arrival Time

Your Therapist will arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the session start time (for example, at 9:45 for a 10:00AM session). If they are running late due to traffic or another unforeseen change in things, they will let you know ASAP. If you don’t hear from them, please feel free to call!

Setup

Space

Please have an area available for us to setup in, 12 square feet per table/mat is ideal, and all pets that might interrupt the session safely somewhere else (pets in session are welcome as long as we don’t have to police them).

Multiple Clients

If there is more than one client that we will be seeing, please allow for privacy during and after each person’s session.

Clean Up

Access to a bathroom or sink with good hand soap to wash up before and after sessions is ideal. If you need us to bring soap, please let us know at least 2 hours before the session start.

Reschedule and Cancellation

If you need to change your appointment time, give us a call to text ASAP at least 24 hours before the appointment date and time! Cancellations or Rebooks less than 24 hours forfeit the session cost.

No Show/Late

Should we arrive at the session destination and there is nobody available to receive us up to 10 minutes after session start time we will assume you cancelled and charge you accordingly.

Should you be late and arrive before 10 minutes into the session we are happy to still provide the requested service, but the session will end at the appointed time.
