These policies are in effect starting May 6th, 2023. They supersede any previous policies by Reworks Massage and Tech LLC, implied, written or otherwise.
Travel Time
We are happy to travel anywhere at no extra cost for up to 45 minutes between appointments!
Travel times longer than 45 minutes, subject to your therapists discretion, may require at least 4 hours of prepaid work. Exceptions may be made if the frequency of the sessions is greater than once a month.
Travel times do take into account rush hour traffic.
There is a $10 fee per each hour that is not filled, rounded down to the hour. For example, a 90 minute massage would be $[90_minute_mobile_cost] + $10 x 3 hours.
Cancellations and Reschedules
If it’s an emergency and you can’t make your session, please let us know at your earliest convenience! We will always try and reschedule you!
Due to the difficulty of getting your spot filled for a cancellation or reschedule less than 24 hours in advance the full session price is forfeit for both situations. Rescheduling is up to the discretion of your therapist.
Please call or text your therapist before the 24 hour time so that they can get you rescheduled!
Hulk Series – UPDATED 07-2023
Hulk Series are discounted with the intent to provide accessibility to excellent bodywork for those committed to their regular self care!
By purchasing a Series you understand:
- Series start at 4 hour blocks and go up to 10.
- The current discount is 10% and is subject to change.
- In the case of Cancellation or Rescheduling less than 24 hours in advance the whole session cost is forfeit, as above in the Cancellations and Reschedules section.
- Series must be used within TWO WEEKS of each other.
- Individual sessions scheduled outside the usage period will be invoiced the difference between the current session price.
- Hulk Series are a series of sessions for one client only with no exceptions. For group discounts, see the More Than One section.
- Reworks Massage and Tech appreciates your commitment to your self care!
The Hulk Series discount does not stack or combine in any way with any other discount Reworks provides.
More Than One
There is a discount for more than one person at the same location on the same day. This is intended for mobile massage only so that we can share our appreciation for not having to drive a lot and setup the table multiple times!
Currently the discount is 10% and is subject to change.
This discount cannot be used on top of or in conjunction with the Bulk Discount. It is intended for couples massages and groups at the same location on the same day.
This service can be ordered online, please let us know if you have somebody who wants longer than an hour!
Payment
Currently we accept all major credit cards and the US Dollar in cash. Tips are appreciated, but not expected; if you liked our work, please tell all your friends!
All Mobile Massage Bookings and Office Chair Massage Bookings are done through the online system and are paid in advance with credit card only, click here to go there!
Event Chair Massage is available for cash or card only.
Setup
See the specific setup instructions for each service type on the main policies page.
It’s a good bet to arrive early! We will be there at least 15 minutes before your session start time for mobile massage and for Studio and Chair Massage we recommend at least 5 to 15 minutes for paperwork!
Gift Cards
Gift cards may be purchased online or in person. They are currently not tied into our booking system, so if you get one for yourself or a friend, please call/text or email us directly with your Gift Card number and personal information so we can manually schedule your session within 90 days!
In general, there are no discounts for multiple gift card purchases.
Refunds
Minus any fees and deposits, if you booked online or were invoiced electronically, the appropriate amount will be refunded to you withing 7 business days.
Minus any fees and deposits, if you paid by cash, we will arrange to meet you in person for us to refund your money.
Minus any fees and deposits, if you paid by cheque, we will post a refund cheque within 7 business days.
Fees and deposits are subject to their specific requirements.
Non-Payment
Any outstanding fees, deposits or session costs are subject to the “what kind of relationship do you want” clause, which states that:
“While we cannot force you to pay us, please consider what kind of relationship you want. If you don’t, you will have to go find another exceptional massage therapist as excited as we are to come to your house, hang out with your dog/cat/iguana, leave you feeling so fantastic that you decide to take the rest of the day off and take a nice nap on the couch. You tell us what’s worth more to you…”
Your Health and Safety
You are in charge of, and fully responsible for, your personal safety and health. If your therapist doesn’t know about an old or new injury, allergy, mutation or super power you have before beginning the massage therapy session they can cause you great harm! Read the session waivers thoroughly and recall as many past injuries and needs you have before they begin to work
