A Massage Therapist works to help relax your body (and by extension your mind) through the manipulation of the soft tissue of the body. When the muscles and soft tissue of the body relax, the natural and healthy fluid flow in the body is restored and stuck metabolic waste (often called “toxins” in classical massage terms) can be moved again.
